I had a really refreshing experience at Clelland and Boyd in Broughty Ferry. The space was really clean, with lovely decor and amazing illustrated murals on the wall which I loved! Props to the artist.
The actual exam was excellent too, the optician really explained in detail everything they were doing and seeing throughout my exam, all on modern equipment and very thorough. And when my baby started to fuss one of the team even walked her around the office so I could finish my appointment without distraction, thank you.
I didn't have time for the consultation to find the perfect frames (fussy baby, remember), but they were happy to book me in for another day and asked me some of my likes and dislikes so they could make sure they'd have frames in from their other stores that they thought I'd like. Looking forward to it!

This was my first visit to Clelland & Boyd and received a warm welcome along with the offer of a hot/cold drink. I had a full eye examination and everything was explained clearly and concisely. I have never experienced such a deep discussion over choosing frames and really appreciated it. There is such a wide choice of bright colours and shapes which is fantastic. I also didn’t feel pressured into choosing the most expensive or made to feel bad for going for less expensive frames and lenses. The whole experience was really positive and would recommend.

What a great experience! You immediately feel at home in the chic and trendy shop. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive, offering me some very nice sparkling water. There was a great variety of glasses, offering something for everyone. I was looking for sunglasses and found a great pair that I normally wouldn’t have chosen but have quickly become my favorite pair. I will definitely be back and highly recommend Clelland and Boyd!

This is the third Visit for Check-up and Prescription change and as per previous visits we were met by happy smiling faces and offers of Coffee chocolate or soft drinks whilst our allotted slot was ready....  

The fantastic lady who checked our eyes made the whole process comfortable and explained every facet of the process and explained the findings at the end so we could make the best decision that suited us both. After that more fresh coffee whilst we chose our options for frames lenses etc and a good laugh as well with the Huge Selection of both Frames Colours ... No Hard Sell always pointed out all options with Financial options available. 

 I can honestly say that I wouldn't be comfortable going anywhere else for our optical needs. Huge Thanks to Laura and Kenga (Hope that's correct) for everything and for being understanding as well as we get used to the chromatic/Varifocal lenses ...
